Fall is Here

Goofing around with Goofy
The water show in California Adventure was awesome !!!!!!!

We have had a lot of fun this fall going to visit some of the places that we don't take the time to go to very often like Pine Valley and Snow Canyon. We took a couple of Friday afternoons and enjoyed this beautiful place that we live. We loved the walks and the beautiful mountains and the smell of fall in the air. We have attended a lot of the boy's football games, enjoyed General Conference, making Halloween pillows and crafts and carving pumpkins in a different way.

We spent our Fall Break from school at Disneyland and California Adventure with the Rombergers. We had such a good time . It has been alot of years since we have been there and it was so fun to go in the role of Grandma and Grandpa. It was new for us and we loved it. We will go whenever the invites come our way.

Beautiful Hawaii

The girls in the largest Banyan tree located in Lahaina on Maui
The guys were afraid to climb the tree and sit on the limb but here they are sitting below it. What a good looking group
This buff dude has become an avid snorkeler. He says its like being in an aquariam.
Seeing Maui by scooter was fun to do. I didn't like driving it in all the traffic.
The reason for this adventure was to celebrate Mom and Dad's 60th wedding anniversary. They are so amazing. I loved spending so much time with them. Happy anniversary and thanks for the wonderful memories of Hawaii

I can't believe it's been a week since we've been home from Hawaii. It seems like forever. I need to get some pics out there for every one to see. We had such a great time and are planning to return someday. It was so beautiful there and fun to be with all the family.

More pics of Portland

This is overlooking the city of Portland. OHSU is located on a hill that overlooks the city.
Dad at the temple grounds . Isn't he just so cute....sure do love him.
Beautiful flowers are growing everywhere. These are by thier front door.
The tulips at the temple were georgous. Maybe I'll do another painting of a tulip.

Our moving trip to Oregon

Taran and Michelle's going away BBQ. The kids had fun except for poopy Bryson. Grandpa had to hose him off before he could have a bath. No pics, aren't you glad!!!!
The big move. Off to Portland Taran and Michelle go. They are in front of their new home.
We enjoyed the drive up with them. It was beautiful.
This is the PA building at OHSU. Very quaint don't you think? The new building is downtown but Taran will only be in it a few months before he finishes.
This is another part of the campus. There are 5 hospitals on campus.
The beautiful Portland temple is only about 10 minutes away from their apartment.

Enjoying Spring

Addie the strawberries are ready to pick . I hope there will still be some when you get here.
Mason's baptism was so special. We are so proud of him. He has added his name to the CTR picture in the family room.
Another red letter day for Taran and Michelle. Their graduation from SUU. What an accomplishment!!!!!

April Fun at the Hansen's

Playing marshmallow guns with Grandpa was a big hit with Bryson. He could actually make the mallows come out! Course his favorite thing was eating them.
Grandpa invited Mason and Easton over for an afternoon of playing Heman during Easter break.
Now that was fun to watch, all the sounds that were made cracked me up. I had to stay in the other room so they couldn't hear me laugh. Some kids never grow up if you know what I mean.
It's a little late to be showing off the eggs done with silk ties, but here they are just for you Jamie.
It was fun trying something new!!!!!
This one was done with a polka dot tie.
And here's all "6" eggs that we colored for Easter. April is going fast and we have a couple more busy weeks ahead. The Fitness Festival 10K and 5K , Mason's baptism, and lots of birthdays, not to mention Taran and Michelle's graduation..........watch for more in May!!!!!

Glowing "pots of Gold" are hidden in strange places all over the back yard.
This is a crazy tradition to celebrate St.Patricks Day. Hailey said it is her favorite
holiday next to Christmas. Easton had to make a calendar to count down the days
until the "GREEN PARTY". We all had a fun, fun time.

It doesn't get better than this!!! Old VHS tapes unloaded from Nate
but stuffed with the real $$$$

Pops getting a wonderful(Green) present. Monkey see, monkey do!
